Fashawn-Boy Meets World
Is it me, or was 09 really a good year for Hip Hop. This is another album that I recently listened to, I’m pretty backed up right now and playing catch up. I’m really impressed by Fashawn, it doesn’t hurt to have Exile producing for him either. Fashawn is an independent artists that tears the stereotypic image of the back pack or emohop emcee to shreds. He is “rough rugged and raw…like cocaine straight from Bolivia.” Still, he finds a way to speak consciously about the world that surrounds him and the world he grew up in. This album has really touched me and has given me mad faith in the future of Hip Hop
